Fun At Burlington

September 19, 2006

Well, this past weekend my sis and I did the Burlington
Antique Flea Market. The weather was beautiful and we had
a great time!!! We always go Saturday afternoon and set up,
then stay the night in our RV to wake up bright and early
Sunday. My sister had forgotten her clothes so our
wonderful mom came over with her things. Lucky for us -
she stayed for sushi takeout after we were set up!

We took the RV and had it loaded with great shabby & chic
vintage items. And of course I had some hand painted
things, too.

Some things sold, some did not, and some new treasures
were found and came home with us.

While we were selling there was this great older couple
that kept wheeling by their treasures in a cute wagon. They
were from Helen, GA. and traveled in their RV with a
trailer from Helen to Nova Scotia and back, collecting
antiques for there antique mall shop. They must have made
three trips back and forth with their loads. They would
stop each time and show us there treasures! Then she
pulled out in their RV with the trailer attached. It must
have been 44 feet long! We wished them a safe ride and off
they went - so cute and sweet!

Look for new items to be posted soon and I scored on some
lovely trim for pillows so I am motivated to make some
more.

I will let you know of upcoming adventures on the Flea
Market front!

Warmest Regards,
